This is in english because, i have a nepalise keyboard and I hate when I cant write english the proper way..
After I got Mikko and Jaakko back to Kathmandu its been very busy. We started working at Chapagnon- health post. It seems as boring as Patan hospital except the scenary is different. Also we have been gathering data around Chapagnon what means that we have been going through villages collecting data about people, like ex. asking people if they wash their hands and have toilet etc. Its been intresting to see how real nepal people live.
Being on the countryside has been great, i really enjoy the clean air and scenery. On tuesday I left with Mikko and Jaakko to Bhaktapur to celebrate the new year 'Bisket Jatra' of course we realised during horrible rain, that we havent made any reservation to the hostels and they were full. Finally we found a nepali man, who was kind enough to find us hotel and it end up like 1500 rupies a room, which was great considering we didnt have any place to go.
Next day we toke leasery stroll around Bhaktapur durpar square and eat from the street kitchen. suprisingly, I didnt get any stomach ache from it..
Bhaktapur was again one beautiful nepali city and I wish I have time to go there again.
Boys left the next day to Bhutan and I again to Chapagnon. In Chapagnon we spent the night with local girls, eating Dalbhat and sleeping at the floor. I was planning to go to Nagargot but the road was closed.
So I ended up In Pulchowk, after hour driving I noticed that there was no guesthouses and only choices were two hotels. Of course I toke the cheaper one. It was actually really nice hotel and I almost felt guilty about the luxury of big bed, electricity and television while girls stayed at Bhainsepati.
I decided that while i was at Pulchowki, might as well to go to see the surroundigs. I asked the reseptionist if I need a guide for pulchowki mountain, she was suprised like most Nepalis that I was trekking alone. Later that day, I reseaved a call from hotel manager that he would take me to Pulchowki mountain with motorcycle. It was actually blast. Mount Pulchowki had amazing views and we went through the jungle really fast. I was pretty sure I saw a tiger in the woods.
After a trip I feel exhausted. We are suppose to move to Thamel tomorrow, the girls have been looking the place during the weekend. Right now I am still covered with dust and feel like taking a shower.
Hope everything is well over there and the sky will clear soon!
Love, Eeva
